Its official.. The holiday season is over.. no more celebrations and festive moods for awhile.. time to immerse myself in the exciting world of ADvertising… sigh..

Oh WELL.. I had my fair share of fun and games.. the last 1 and half weeks were.. well.. a blur.. basically ate and ate and shopped and played.. couldn’t have been more fun than this..though we had a bit too much late nights.. I’m still suffering from the after effects..

During my recent trip to shanghai. We visited a fantastic FANTASTIC restaurant!

Foodies would be familiar with the name Justin Quek.. and YES he has a restaurant in shanghai..Mich brought me there for my bday telling me that i would LOVEE the food. And she was right, fab place with fab food.. a place to see/eat and to be seen..truely an IT restaurant like what Harpers Bazzar wrote.. so i couldnt help it but go there twice over the 10 days..

La Platane served fantastic foie gras.. whether pan fried.. or made in to a xiaolong bao (omg.. how amazing right!).. on my 2nd trip to the restaurant we ordered the pan fried foie gras but the lovely chef gave us single servings of foie gras xiaolongbao..on the house… so irresistable… and though im not a fan of dessert… the apple tart.. was pretty fabulous..anyway let the pictures do the talking..

Its been such a long time since I last did this… well.. busy so can’t help it. I had a crazy week since I came back from shanghai..

Couple of photos I took in shanghai.. glad to be home from the cold though..

We had fantastic food.. shopped a hell lot and had a fabulous time for the whole week.. Thanks to you!

Went for Jay’s concert… haha Most unexpectedly since I didn’t even intend to pay a cent for the ticket… I think 100 bucks or more to see him sing is abit too much… i would rather spend that on a bag shoe or a good meal.. Well anyway the boss gave her 2 tickets to me and my colleague.. haha and so i ended up in the VVIP section.. with Jie lun just a row infront of me!! anyhow.. we screamed and sang along.. and had a freaking good time! No pictures yet lazy to photoshop for now..

This year’s bday is a little different.. from last year’s amazing 21st.. to this year’s… very calm.. but yet exciting bday..

Well it has been a year with a fair share of ups and downs… thrills..disappointments… and doing things i never imagined doing…

And so im taking a flight tmr night.. yes on my bday…. to shanghai as a bday treat to myself.. and of cos a break before the new year.. which i foresee a year full of changes and exciting events ahead of me…

But i’ll still be working tmr.. sadly.. still have some stuff to settle since advertising is known to be unpredictable…Better to be safe than sorry..

Happy 22nd to myself.. may i be older and wiser.. haha…

Christmas eve this year is in singapore.. but somehow its very different…

It sure is the best time of the year though.. love the gifts i got this season… and so my wishlist is ALMOST done.. jus lacking say.. 2 items..lol… over all these couple of days have been pretty wonderful..Quite a bit to be happy about!

Thanks to the mum and dad.. I got my classic vintage yet digital camera with the precious red dot…

Thanks to the dimsum family who got me the vouchers.. evening bag.. and MAC gorgeous make up

Thanks to my girls who got me my vintage silver watch.. i have been eyeing on that since forever.. durable i know..

Thanks to the boss who got me my first orange box with the famous ribbon.. lovely.. simply in AWE…

Thanks to myself who got ME my precious YSL muse..

Thanks to myself AGAIN to buy ME a holiday in bout 5 days…

Now.. im still waiting for generous donors who are willing to fund my last 2 items.. haha

Favourite time of the Year.

This is definitely my favourite time of the year. Even going to the office feels different. Ok well we still wait to rush and rush to wait, BUT somehow it feels easier. The Oh-so-IMPT day.. aka my birthday… is approaching too.. i already know what i want for my bday!

Well ANYWAY i got myself a NEW TOY ( with some help from the mummy of course).. absolutely gorgeous.. an I can’t stop staring at it…

Feeling abit guilty from the splurge but oh well i need to get a gift for myself somehow right… and my boss was right.. it feels good to reward myself with my hard work..

On a even better note… another New Toy will be coming to ME tmr!

who has ALWAYS been there to listen to my nonsense.. and meeting me very last minute when im bored.. waiting for me outside the store while i shop ( not that i enjoy that!)..sometimes offering to hold my shopping… making me laugh.. always so nice to me… waiting for me for an hour cos i was stuck in the office..
